Sundown.

Sundown is a Mac menu bar app that warms and dims the screen after dark, down to 500K deep red — well past Night Shift's 2700K limit. One slider. No account.

What you’ll post

You already know how to make these.

Three posts you could film tonight. Take them word for word or make them yours — they are written to be true, which is the only rule we have about copy.

The side-by-side

Night Shift stops at 2700K. Sundown keeps going, down to 500K deep red. Same desk, same hour, two completely different screens. Link in bio. Free for 7 days.

Suggested visual

Film your Mac in a dark room and drag the slider on camera. The screen turning red is the whole ad.

The enemy question

Are you macro dosing blue light? Your screen was calibrated for noon. You are using it at 11pm. Your body keeps score either way. Link in bio. Free for 7 days.

Suggested visual

You, lights off, laptop open, face lit warm. One take, no edit. The room does the work.

The study

Ostrin 2017 found that blocking blue light in the evening raised nocturnal melatonin about 58 percent in healthy adults, and they slept about 24 minutes longer. That study used lenses. Sundown takes the blue out of the screen itself. Link in bio.

Suggested visual

Plain white text on a still of a dark room with one warm screen glowing. Let the number carry it.

Who this is for

People whose audience is awake after dark.

Wellness creators

Your audience already cares what light does to a body after dark. This is the screen half of that conversation, and nobody is having it.

Biohackers

Kelvin, flicker, dithering, schedules. Sundown is one of the rare things in the stack you can demo on camera in ten seconds.

Anyone whose audience works on a Mac at night

Founders, editors, engineers, students. If they are on a Mac after dark, you do not have to explain the problem to them.

Take your nights back. Bring your audience with you.

Joining takes about a minute. Your link is live the moment you finish, and it is yours: trysundown.com/friends/yourname.
